Pilgrims Rest Cemetery         

This cemetery is three miles south of the Powell Butte Community Hall. The Powell Butte Cemetery Association was formed in 1910.  One acre was donated by William Pancake in 1910 and an adjoining acre by Charles Charlton in 1929.  The cemetery was deeded to the Crook County Cemetery District in 1959.  There are one hundred and fifty eight graves with ten unidentified.  the oldest burial is that of Jessie Bussett in 1905.  It is some time referred to as Powell Butte Cemetery.
