Howard Cemetery                          

This cemetery is located east of Prineville approximately two miles past the old Howard School and three miles southeast of Ochoco Ranger Station.  It is a small cemetery that was established in 1892.  It is one half acre in size and was deeded to the Crook County Cemetery District in 1966.  The oldest marked grave is that of Arnold Gerow in 1892.
